First Tee was formed nationally in Nov 1997 by the World Golf Foundation. The program was originally created as a way to bring golf to youngsters that otherwise would not be exposed to the game of golf.

In 2018 First Tee of Beaver Falls Board of Directors made the decision to expand our participant’s opportunities by merging with First Tee of Pittsburgh. Our programs will continue to deliver high-quality coaching in a fun and seamless manner while keeping with our mission. The partnership with Black Hawk Golf Course will continue and will work toward developing further programming opportunities for participants and help our participants learn, grow and develop on and off the golf course. With this merger comes change. The biggest change will be in scheduling and registration online.
- Summer classes meet for a total of 6 weeks.
- Classes meet once a week for 90 minutes.
- Classes start early June and end mid August.
- Children ages 5 – 18 are welcome to register. The Level column in the schedules will corresponds to age.
- The cost is $70 per participant for the entire 6 week program (Financial Aid is available).
- Equipment is provided however you are welcome to bring your own.

To impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.
Donate & Make A Difference
Over the last 21 years First Tee of Beaver Falls Chapter has provided over 5,000 local children with an educational curriculum based on 9 core values and 9 healthy habits all through the game of golf. Participants come from all walks of life regardless of economic background, age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion and disability.
Our summer program is made possible through the generous funding we receive from members of our community. These donations make up a large percentage of our Chapter’s programming cost.
This year we are specifically seeking donations to help expand our program, reaching more local youth and provide program scholarships. Your support is key to helping us achieve our mission.
